GARCÍA-HÍPOLA, MAYKA

PhD in Architecture (UPM). Master in Design Studies MDesS (Harvard University). Fulbright Scholar. Tenured Professor of Architectural Projects (UNAV). She has taught Architectural Design in the Juan Navarro Baldeweg´s chair at ETSAM, at CEU, Lisbon, Boston Architectural Center and at Harvard University. He has lectured at the Royal Complutense College of Cambridge, at MIT, at Harvard University and at the Dublin, Brussels, Karlsruhe and Seville and has participated as studio critic at Columbia University, Camilo José Cela and Kaiserslautern. He has been Visiting Scholar at Columbia, UCLA, and Bartlett. Her work has been exhibited at the Carpenter Center in Boston and at Venice Biennale of Architecture. Her strategy consulting assignments have focused on architectural, urban and landscape design and on the regeneration of buildings and public spaces in an intelligent, ethical, economic, ecological and creative way that have been reflected and disseminated in numerous projects and publications.
