María Teresa Victoria
María Teresa Victoria started her career at a very early age in Academia Sta. María del Mar (Fuengirola, Málaga, Spain), as a summer assistant to teachers Mum and Dad. She first began teaching small kids how to read and write in L1, then organised evening English-speaking workshops for young learners when she was only a baccalaureate student. In 1993 she moved to adult education when she became an English teacher for the Junta de Andalucía Official Language schools, where she has worked ever since. During her MA studies in Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence (University of Málaga, 2019) she became powerfully concerned with more inclusive classrooms and well-being programs at schools. Her other publication "Be Mindful" deals with reducing anxiety and coping with examination stress. At present, she is highly engaged with finding optimal ways to address students with learning difficulties and special needs which is what moved her to launch this publication as fundraising for the cause.
